‘Be The Piece’ is a conceptual print and digital campaign that aims to inform many young Canadians about the constant need for blood, plasma, and organ donations, in hopes of encouraging many to become listed donors. The visual idea of ‘Be The Piece’, pulls on the strength of young Canadians rallying together on social media; whilst also taking inspiration from Canada’s cultural “mosaic”. However, instead of focusing on many people gathering together, this campaign focuses on ‘putting together’ a single individual. Focusing on one individual within the visuals aims to deliver a more personal and intimate connection - between the presented work and the audience.
